Yattalunga, Saratoga and Davistown

Sitting in the valley of Kincumber Mountain follow Davistown Road through Yattalunga and Saratoga and end up on the water’s edge at picturesque Davistown. Here are the 3 Villages.

The 3 Villages are unique and one of the best kept secrets of the Central Coast. This place is proof that a beautiful little community can still exist in today’s ever-expanding, chaotic world, so far away but in reality so close to Sydney, being around a 40 min drive from Hornsby.

With stunning waterfront reserves and parks, gorgeous restaurants and cafes, Davistown RSL, sailing club, small local shopping centres, walking tracks and mountain climbs, boating and ferry rides – the 3 Villages has it all.

Known back in the day for its shipbuilding history you may enjoy the Shipbuilder’s memorial walk along the foreshore of Broadwater from Davistown to Kincumber.

The walk is fun and educational and highlights the historic importance of shipbuilding in the area, starting with Aboriginal bark boats built by the Darkinyung people. From all directions, the views are stunning, especially on top of Mt Pleasant, and it’s not too hard to fall in love with the place.

No wonder the locals call it Yattaluvya (Yattalunga), Saradise (Saratoga) and Daviscrown (Davistown).
