A Night of Enticement, Under the Stars
This December, the Coasts’ very own Opera company, Coast Opera Australia Central Coast, is set to delight audiences with a night of fine food and finer music – something we can all look forward to after the year we have had.
Off the back of the sell-out “Debut Concert” to a standing ovation, followed by “Salute to the Anzac’s” and “Disney to Diva”, Coast Opera Australia has partnered with Central Coast Stadium and the Central Coast Council to present, “A Night of Enticement, Under The Stars”. This special event will be held on the lawn at Central Coast Stadium.
With a twinkle in her eye, Coast Opera Australia’s founder and Artistic Director, Angela Brewer says, “We want to thrill our audience with unexpected, bold and daring spectacles that expand their understanding and appreciation of the professional world of fine music. We challenge the Coast to step into a world of creativity, opulence, drama, song, dance and immersive experiences – they may just discover that they’ve enjoyed an operatic experience.”
Coast Opera Australia was established in September 2018. Although still in its infancy prior to Covid-19 placing a hold on events, Coast Opera Australia had already reached great heights, with its initial productions receiving accolades from local, national and international music bodies and audiences. It had even been announced in Parliament.
As a registered charity, Coast Opera Australia was established to create a thriving, artistic culture that unites our community through special events encompassing everything from opera to musical theatre, jazz to modern repertoire such as Disney classics. Founded by Angela Brewer, an internationally renowned opera singer, vocal teacher, conductor and concert producer with a vast body of work spanning 20 years, Coast Opera Australia is guaranteed to deliver on its promise.
