Aquafun Avoca Lake

Aquafun Avoca Lake has Australia’s largest selection of modern human-powered pedalboats, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. We offer hire, kayak tours, SUP lessons and corporate programs and are located on the lake foreshore in the Heazlett Park reserve.

Avoca Lake is a coastal lagoon right in the heart of Avoca Beach and just moments from the popular surfing beach. The star-shaped lake is relatively untouched by development. It boasts a large island at its centre, as well as creeks, passages, inlets and wide expanses to explore. This ecologically significant and picturesque wetland area is home to black swans, pelicans, herons, cormorants, many other birds and wildlife. Avoca Lagoon wetland is also home to an endangered Green & Golden Bell Frog colony, a diverse and rare range of flora and abundant fish stocks.
