Just an easy 20-minute drive from the urban Gosford area, the attractive Hub of Mangrove Mountain, with its striking use of recycled timber throughout, celebrates its rustic, rural surrounds with a fresh, delicious, creative and affordable menu, that proudly uses all local farm fresh produce and ingredients, premium local grass-fed meat, free-range eggs along with some vegan and Gluten Free options as well.
“I wanted to create a place that WAS the hub of our community – a place with a happy, positive, attractive and sustainable feel that celebrated and showcased the best of our community,” explains local owner Shane Eastman.
“We’re proud of The Hub. Everyone loves our food, and comments on the quality of the ingredients. Some of our most popular meals are our juicy premium beef The Hub Burger, our craft-brewed Beer Battered Fish n’ Chips, our slightly-spicy Pulled Pork roll with Apple ‘Slaw, our Middle Eastern Falafel Salad, or our hearty country-style Big Brekkie – not for the faint hearted!
However, The Hub of Mangrove Mountain is so much more than just a place to drink a great coffee and have a meal under the gum trees, or in the air-conditioned café section, – you can also buy your own farm fresh local and organically grown produce from their grocery section, and buy locally-sourced A-Grade Grass fed premium meat, bacon, sausages, steaks, mince and roasts to take home. Browse through our gifts and specialty foods. Try our Yarramalong pure and creamed honey, manuka, cinnamon or even hemp honey, or our traditionally marinated Laguna olives, olive oils and other specialty foods and hand-made art and craft gifts.
The Hub has another great reason to visit – featuring an impressive Gelato Bar of many wildly-flavoured gelatos and sorbets, and an assortment of absolutely delicious different flavoured home-baked Cheesecakes. Along with a vast array of tarts, slices, cakes and vegan and gluten free bars, there really is something to satisfy everyone’s sweet-tooth.
