Thai Finesse on Anzac Road in Tuggerah is under new ownership. Rhyan and Si are front of house, while Chef Nu creates the flavourful, unique Thai dishes in the kitchen.
We had an enjoyable dinner there one Friday night. Entrees were crispy curry puffs and Satay chicken skewers with a most more-ish peanut sauce.
For mains we had Salmon Chu Chee – Atlantic salmon fillet with traditional spicy chilli in a coconut milk curry, with peas, carrot and capsicum, topped with Kaffir lime leaf.
There was also quite a hot duck dish called Pad Phet Duck with traditional Thai herbs and spices in coconut milk and red curry paste with mixed vegetables.
Our favourite was the Vermicelli Pork – vermicelli noodles, fried with pork, egg, mixed vegetables and oyster sauce. It was yummy and not too spicy!
There is a great assortment of Thai meals on the menu, but we were lucky enough to try this amazing and unusual selection made by Chef Nu. Do go and try something different.
We would recommend eating in, or taking out from this wonderful Thai restaurant.
