Little Creek Cheese

Following the Maker’s Trail Central Coast

Little Creek Cheese started about 10 years ago by a local cheese making family. It is still owned by that same family Russell, Sue and Alex, who all take part in the production of their award winning cheese. They boast over 180 industry awards, such as gold 3 years in a row in the Sydney Royal Cheese and dairy competition for their B.B.Q. Cheese (Haloumi), the goat salad cheese (goat fetta) with garlic and dill has won champion non-bovine dairy product in the NSW Dairy Industry awards twice in a row (2018, 2019).

Only 45 mins out of Sydney, they are located within the heritage listed Wyong Milk Factory along Alison Rd, Wyong. The shop front is open 7 days a week 10am to 4pm (limited to one group at a time, due to COVID19). They also offer free tastings once you are in the shop, there are viewing windows around the front of the building, also in the shop where you can see into the making room. You won’t see any fancy machinery as all of the cheese made by Little Creek are made by hand.

Little Creek Cheese have launched two bookable experiences available through their website www.littlecreekcheese.com.au. These experiences are in high demand and only run on weekends, with limited numbers, other conditions also apply.

The award winning cheeses feature on some local café and restaurant menus and is a good way of enjoying not only the cheese, but other local delights as well.
