Bouddi Peninsula Arts Trail Weekend

Sat 4th and Sun 5th October Long Weekend from 9am
It’s time for another exciting Bouddi Peninsula Arts Trail this October long weekend (4th and 5th) on the Central Coast. Organisers expect another great turnout for this year’s event thanks to the quality of the works by both veteran artists as well the debut of first-time exhibitors.
The Arts Trail, set in the heart of the majestic Bouddi National Park is a unique opportunity for both locals and visitors to the peninsula to explore original and unique works of art. Winding through the coastal hideaway of Killcare Heights, Killcare, Hardys Bay, Pretty Beach and Wagstaffe, it’s an opportunity to meet the artists in their studios and workshops, where the creativity begins.
The Bouddi Peninsula Arts Trail is conveniently located just 90 minutes from Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. So, each year, more and more visitors come to the peninsula over the long weekend from further afield. It’s a perfect time of year to embrace the stunning nature of the peninsula, experience friendly local eateries and shops, and browse a rich collection of artworks in the relaxed comfort of artisan studios.
This year a record 27 artists will be displaying pieces including painting, sculpture, ceramics, woodwork, photography and textile art. Something for everyone. As always, the artists will be on hand to chat, educate and inspire visitors. It’s an opportunity to meet the artists and in many cases, see how the work is created. And of course, everything will be available to purchase and make its way to new homes and venues.
With 27 artists and a myriad of works to see, it’s a good idea to plan your visit. Whether you’re able to spend one day or the weekend, visitors can follow the trail by picking up a map from any of the local businesses or by using an online map. All the studios are designated with a red flag to let visitors know they’re open for business.
With the ultimate combination of Bouddi National Park’s Bush, Bay and Beach, the Bouddi Peninsula Arts Trail October Long weekend is a unique art and leisure event.
