You are invited to come and explore the only pearl farm in NSW, right here on the Central Coast.

We are sustainably growing Akoya pearls, which are amongst the finest quality pearls grown anywhere in the world. You can discover these hidden gems at Broken Bay Pearl Farms Shellar Door, situated on the edge of the of the stunning Lower Hawkesbury River in Mooney Mooney.

Our pearl farm experiences are the perfect way to get outside and learn something new.

Our newest experience on offer is the Pearlers Private Lunch Cruise. Bring your friends and family and enjoy an exclusive private tour of the beautiful Hawkesbury River and our Broken Bay Pearl Farm.

This two-hour lunch cruise is ideal for 4-12 people based entirely on our iconic flat bottomed oyster boats, meandering along the mighty river stopping to take in the best sights the area has to offer.

The Pearlers Private Lunch Cruise includes a grazing platter made from local ingredients, fresh Sydney Rock oysters and refreshments until your heart is content. Bookings available for 1pm Thursday to Saturday.

Our original tour running every day we are open is the Discovery Experience. You’ll discover the intricacies of pearl farming, with a guided tour of our Shellar Door and a cruise out to a pearl oyster lease. You will also learn the history of Australian pearling and enjoy entry into the restricted-access pearl grading room for an immersive pearl grading session. Just want to drop in? Visitors are also welcomed to come and browse our selection of locally grown pearls, shells, and jewellery, or enjoy fresh local oysters at our outdoor seating alongside the river and enjoy the view of Spectacle Island.
