Whalebone – an imagination buzz

The Art House Makes Science and Technology Cool with Whalebone

Calling all Central Coast tinkerers, engineers, hobbyists, and sci-fi lovers of all ages. Whalebone is a fantastical adventure exploring the power of Human stories in a time when A.I is stepping into the spotlight. Join Jens and his half-human juggling machine on this roller-coaster adventure, blending humour, magic, machines, and mesmerizing visuals.

Set in The Art House studio, families will be in awe of the eccentric contraptions, strange machinery, and clunky inventions that create the richly visual theatrical experience of Whalebone.

The Art House makes sure there is a show for everyone, and this is perfect for children aged 6-12 and their science and technology-loving adults. Devised and performed by the imaginative mind of inventor and comedian Jens Altheimer, winner of the Adelaide Fringe Award for Best Production for Children, this show will be wildly entertaining and slightly educational whilst upholding an important storyline throughout.

“This is the kind of show your kids will love. It is full of junk, fantastical objects, artificial intelligence, drama, thrills and puzzle solving.” – Samsara Dunston ★★★★

“WHALEBONE’ is a real imagination buzz from start to finish. This is a perfect show for everyone, no matter what age, to be introduced to wonder and imagination through theatre” – Janice Haynes, Forge Theatre and Arts Hub Manager

Whalebone makes science and technology cool; catch it at The Art House Wyong early this May. Both school-time and early evening performances are available.
