Kick off the Toukley adventure with a scenic view. Visit the infamous Norah Head Lighthouse. The active Lighthouse is surrounded by clear uninterrupted views of Norah Head. Join a tour and climb the 96 stairs to the towers balcony. Learn current and historical information about the light house and hear stories of shipwreck adventures. Continue the Norah Head experience with the North Wyrrabalong National Park that has a Red Gum Trail track surrounded by native flora and fauna accompanied by a Headland lookout for stunning coastline views. The track connects to the Nearby Norah Head Lighthouse walk; a pathed track dedicated to historical landmarks and statues such as the Merchant Navy memorial, accompanied by further coastline lookouts. Furthermore, the track flows down Norah Head beach connecting to Cabbage Tree Harbour.
Cabbage Tree Harbour is an ideal family retreat with a small ocean rock pool and boat ramp making it the perfect place to immerse you in water activities. For land lovers it is an area for exploring nearby rock shelves with plenty of spots for both ocean and rock fishing or a simply relaxing spot for a lazy afternoon with beautiful scenery. The Harbour is located off Bald Street at Norah Head.
The Toukley Art Gallery displays a variety of paintings from water colour, oil, acrylic and pastel. The Gallery and artworks are continuously updated bi-monthly ensuring a new experience every time. The Toukley and Districts Art Society encourage workshops with a paint together session held Wednesday mornings for a small fee of $5.
