Australia’s internationally acclaimed Elton John performer, Greg Andrew celebrates 50th Anniversary of ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’

Greg Andrew is embarking on an Australian tour in 2023 to mark the 50th anniversary of ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.’ Andrew’s ability to replicate Sir Elton John’s flamboyant stage show has earned him global acclaim as one of the most renowned Elton John performers.

With his impressive piano skills and effortless melodic abilities, Andrew creates faithful reproductions of Elton’s greatest hits. He has been described as “fantastic,” “brilliant,” and “a real showman” by audiences worldwide. Andrew’s two-hour concert production, ‘Rocketman Flying Solo,’ is an intimate, up-close, and personal tribute to Sir Elton John, built on his hits and format.

Andrew is a classically trained pianist and grew up in a musical family. He cites Sir Elton John and Bernie Taupin as his personal heroes and draws inspiration from their music, which he describes as reminiscent of growing up with a lifelong friend.

Andrew has curated a songbook of hits that includes ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,’ ‘Bennie And The Jets,’ ‘Candle In The Wind,’ ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight,’ ‘Daniel,’ ‘I’m Still Standing,’ ‘Crocodile Rock,’ and ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me,’ among others.

Overall, the Elton John Experience promises to be a spectacular evening, showcasing Andrew’s talent as one of the most recognized Elton John tribute artists in the world. Andrew hopes to continue to fill the niche left by Elton John’s retirement and offers “something for everyone” in his tribute show.
