An Intimate Evening of Fine Music at The Art House

The Art House and the
Australian Chamber Orchestra presents
An Evening with the ACO Collective Quartet

The renowned Australian Chamber Orchestra Collective Quartet will be performing at The Art House where audiences can expect to be enveloped by the goosebump-inducing senses of sound as they sit amongst the music. Set in the small space of The Art House Studio, classical fans will be close enough to see the hairs on the bows in this rare concert.

The Quartet will play classical masterworks by Bach, Beethoven and Dvořák, alongside contemporary works by Philip Glass and Caroline Shaw, interspersed with delightfully informative introductions to the music.

The Collective Quartet is made up of 2 violins, a viola, and a cello.

“The collective sound of ACO Collective is exquisite and homogenous, a tribute to the musicians of the Australian Chamber Orchestra, who have sought these rare talents.” – THE SYDNEY MORNING HERALD

The Art House aims to support and encourage arts education where possible, and The ACO Collective Quartet extend their talents to educating the younger generation as well. They will also be performing their production of The Princess, The Pea (and the Beave Escapee) whilst at The Art House.
